blog post #5

From doing the story of the seed project I learned how the salt leveled can affect plants and how they grow. I learned that the more salt in the water, if used on a plant then it won’t allow the plant to grow as fast or as big as it is supposed to in some cases it kills the plant. The thing that surprised me the most is the fact that plants with salt were still able to grow. The most frustrating part of this expriment was when the plants wouldn’t grow and when there wasn’t much room left in the planter. I interviewed Genevieve Haartman and this was her response.  She learned that vinegar and soda kill your plants and sparkling water makes your plants grow faster. She did not expect the sparkling water to improve the plant growth time. Something that made her laugh was working wit her friend. She didn’t need to know anything else. She found watering and tracking the plants growth was true most frustrating.
